SJA Forum Guidelines

swiss-japan@yahoogroups.com

The AJ Forum is a mailing list offering SJA members a way to interact, and share ideas with each other in the context of our association. Its use is reserved to the members of the association.

In order to facilitate the usage of the SJA Forum and prevent abusive usage of it, we ask members who post messages to the SJA Forum to respect the following guidelines:

  1. All messages should be written in English, the official language of the association.
  2. You may not post content that is disrespectful to the culture and sensibilities of other members of the association.
  3. You may not post jokes or content considered as spam.
  4. You may not use the SJA Forum to chat with other members of the association.
  5. When replying to requests posted on the SJA Forum, you should reply only to the sender and NOT to the mailing list itself, in order to not overwhelm our members’ mailbox with an exaggerated amount of emails.
  6. You must stay on topic. Do not post content that is not related to the goals of our association and to the purpose of the SJA Forum.
  7. Adult-oriented content is strictly forbidden on the SJA Forum.

The SJA Forum Administrator, in his sole discretion, may, after having notified the SJA Committee, suspend or terminate any mailing list account immediately and without notice if a member has acted inconsistently with the above guidelines. Please help us keep the SJA Forum an enjoyable, useful and positive experience.

By default, members of the SJA Forum will receive messages one by one when they are posted. Members who prefer to receive a daily digest, in order to reduce the amount of messages they receive, may do so by contacting the SJA Forum Administrator. In this case however they will not be able to access attachments.

Members may ask at any time to be removed from the SJA Forum mailing list recipients by sending an email to swiss-japan-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com.
