Message to our SJA members   Job fair for SJA members Once back in Switzerland after our stay in Japan, quite many of us have explored the job market to seek for a position which has a link or a relation with Japan. Unfortunately, success was not often there. The first aim of this project called “job fair for SJA members” is to build contacts between engineers and scientists of our association and the companies looking for profiles like ours. The companies we would like to address are firms established in Switzerland and linked to Japan as well as Japanese firms eager to recruit specialists with profile like ours. In concrete terms, we are currently getting in touch with the above mentioned companies and are waiting for a feed back until the end of the year. This will help us in evaluating the market and in targeting our next steps. In the long run, if the project bears its fruits, the aim is to be able to offer job opportunities in the course of year 2009 to our members when these occur on the market. The addressed market is worth the time and effort investment because the success chance of the project is real.
